Solid Brass, Wood Screws - Slotted, Countersink Head

Brass is used for it's aesthetic appeal. It is shiny, gold in appearance and metallic to make a product look more luxurious, higher quality and therefore, more expensive.

Manufactured from high quality solid brass, not brass plated.

No.4 = 2.6mm thread diameter; 5.3mm head diameter.

No.6 = 3.5mm thread diameter; 6.5mm head diameter.

No.8 = 4mm thread diameter; 8mm head diameter.

Screw lengths are measured from the point at which the head touches the material to be fixed.

 Rant about countersink vs countersunk

Some people would call these fixings countersunk but this would be incorrect! Countersunk is past tense and therefore suggests what's happened. As in, a pilot/ clearance hole might have been countersunk. A, 'sink,'  is going to happen and therefore the head is countersink.
