Hexagon Threaded Bar/ Rod Connector Nut Application

A hexagon connector nut is used as a coupling 2 threaded bars together. To fasten the rods you would turn the connector nut clockwise/ to the right (righty-tighty) until the threaded bar reaches half way up the nut. Then, turn the connecting threaded bar (wearing hand protection) into the open end until it meets the other that's altready inserted.  

Use an adjustable spanner or correct sized spanner to tighten or reease the threaded bar connection.
