M16 x Under 100mm, Hex Set Screw, High Tensile/ 8.8, Zinc, DIN 933.
M16 (16mm Dia. 2.00 Pitch, Standard Coarse Thread) Hexagon Head, Set Screw, Set Screw, Hex Head, High Tensile, Grade 8.8 Steel, Zinc Plated. DIN 933.
Fixaball sells all lengths of M16, zinc, hexagon head, set screws (fully threaded shank).
Hex Head Set Screw is similar to a hex head, bolt and can be used in a similar way. The difference is that a set is fully threaded and a bolt is not. A bolt has a part-plain shank that will reduce damage to a hole where you will expect movement and vibrations. A set might be used to fix something to a permanent position and has better flexibility with fastening with it’s longer threaded area.

Threads
This listing is for standard coarse thread, shoulder bolts.
Metric Threads are measured in Millimetres (mm) units and were developed to simplify the imperial systems. Europe moved to this system but the Americans choose Imperial as their default. A coarse thread has less helical coils per mm and a fine one has more. Coarse is used for heavier loads and fine is used for lighter loads prone to vibrations.
